COURSE OVERVIEW​

In this interactive, workshop-style class, R.J. will teach on Jon Kabat-Zinn's operational definition of mindfulness: Paying attention in a particular way: on purpose, in the present moment, and non-judgmentally. He will guide participants through 3 short mindfulness meditations, introduce ways mindfulness can be brought into our everyday lives, and - to foster deeper understanding - guide group discussion around the how and why of mindfulness practice. In short, this is meant to be an evolving support toward experiencing life more fully, with kindness, open-heartedness, and perhaps a sense of humor.
